Meet Ryan
Ryan grew up in a working-class family in the City of Methuen. His mother is a public school teacher, and his father is a retired union truck driver. Hamilton attended Methuen Public Schools before attending the University of Massachusetts at Lowell, earning his bachelor's degree. Hamilton has dedicated his career to public service. He was elected as an At-Large City Councilor in Methuen in 2017. In 2019, he left public office to join U.S. Congresswoman Lori Trahan's office in constituent services, where he helped people in Methuen and Haverhill in need of veterans' services. In 2021, he was tapped by Methuen Mayor Neil Perry to become one of the leaders in his administration. Hamilton is proud of his Merrimack Valley roots and his work to support his community. "I am so thankful for the opportunities that I have had growing up here in the Valley, and I am committed to serving and giving back to the good people of Methuen and Haverhill," Hamilton said. "I would be humbled and honored to serve this area as a state representative."
